About Our Home & School Association

The Ayer’s Cliff Elementary School Home & School Association is proud to be part of the Quebec Federation of Home and School Associations (QFHSA), an independent, incorporated, not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the education and overall well-being of children and youth.

Our Home & School Association brings together parents, families, school staff, and members of our community who share one common goal: making our students’ school experience the very best it can be.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple but important belief: No child should ever have to miss out on a school experience because of their family’s financial situation. Throughout the year, we work hard to raise funds and organize activities that enrich our students’ school experience. Whether we are helping to fund a special activity, supporting a school program, or contributing toward a year-end trip, our goal is to make these opportunities as accessible and inclusive as possible for every student at ACES.

Our Home & School helps support and organize activities such as pizza days, school celebrations, special events, year-end trips, student programs, and much more. Fundraising throughout the year allows us to continue supporting these experiences while helping reduce financial barriers for our families.

We meet approximately once a month in the evening, and we are always happy to welcome new members! You don’t need special experience, and you don’t have to volunteer for everything. Whether you can attend meetings, help at an occasional event, support a fundraiser, bring forward a new idea, or simply lend a hand when you can — your involvement makes a difference.

The more parents, families, and community members who get involved, the more we can accomplish together. Together, we can create memorable experiences, strengthen our school community, and make sure every ACES student has the opportunity to participate, belong, and enjoy everything their school experience has to offer.
