Oasis

For 2022-2023, we are lucky to have an Oasis room at Ayer’s Cliff Elementary. It’s a safe place where students can co-regulate their emotions and behaviour with a Special Education Technician (SET), and where they will learn and practice coping skills to improve their school integration. Students are identified and referred throughout the year because the typical behaviour management and disciplinary practices have failed to resolve their problems. The student's unique needs and circumstances determine how the Oasis services are provided (prevention and intervention).
